Dental Maintenance Organization (DMO)
Aetna’s DMO plan provides a lower-cost managed plan that focuses on a Primary Care Dentist within an extensive network. Employees will select a primary care dentist and pay a co-payment when service is provided. Some routine services are performed at no cost, other than a nominal office visit fee.

Preferred Provider Organization (PPO)
The Aetna dental PPO plan offers employees both an In-Network and an Out-of-Network option. Employees have the choice of selecting a dentist from Aetna’s extensive PPO network, or they may select any licensed dentist for services.
