Charles M. Davis, Jr.
Chairman, Advantec

Chuck Davis is the co-founder and developer of Advantec’s unique business model. He is responsible for recruiting the start-up executive and management team, agency partners, strategic consultants, advisors and initial seed capital. As former CEO of the highly respected and successful agency DavisBaldwin Inc., Mr. Davis’ leading reputation in the insurance industry enabled Advantec to attract top-tier insurance agencies like Aetna and AIG as partners. Mr. Davis has served as a director on the boards of The Bank of Tampa, the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce and the Boy Scouts of America.

James K. Murray, III
Vice Chairman, Advantec

Jack Murray was previously Advantec’s Chief Executive Officer and formerly the Vice President and CFO for Sykes HealthPlan Services Inc., a provider of outsourced care management services and products and employee benefits administration and support. Mr. Murray has also served as the Executive Vice President and CFO of HealthPlan Services Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange listed company, and President and CEO of the federally-insured Commercial Bank.

Venetia Kontogouris

Venetia Kontogouris joined Trident Capital in 1999 as a Managing Director. Previously, she was President of Enterprise Associates, LLC, the venture capital division of IMS Health Incorporated, and she has held various venture capital positions since 1989. Before that, as Senior Vice President, Venture Development, at Cognizant Corporation.   Ms. Kontogouris represented Cognizant in the Information Partners Capital Fund, formed by Dun & Bradstreet and Bain Capital. Ms. Kontogouris also held executive positions in new product development and marketing at D&B and sales management positions at AT&T and IBM.

Kent A. Nelson

Kent Nelson is Chairman and CEO of HRH Company/Lombard. Previously Mr. Nelson held senior management positions with leading Chicago-area brokers including Marsh McLennan, AON Risk Services chairman, CEO of Frank B. Hall, as well as area president of Arthur J. Gallagher. In addition, he is an adjunct Professor of Management at Northern Illinois University (NIU), a member of NIU’s Board of Executive Advisors and a founder of NIU’s Executive Club of Chicago.
