IS Intern
Location:  Tampa, FL

IS Intern Requirements:
  • Provide technical support to end users on a variety of issues within our corporate environment
  • Ability to work in a changing and fast paced environment
  • Good working knowledge of personal computers and windows operating system
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within network services, business applications and customer support fields
Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Supports and/or installs software applications, including but not limited to PeopleSoft, MS Office Suite and many others
  • Provides Ghosted Workstation/Laptop Ghost builds and recommend procedural, software and hardware, and/or tools that enhance or increase productivity
  • Route advanced help desk issues to appropriate IS personnel, based on type of problem
  • Identifies, researches, resolves technical support issues
  • Performs troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common problems
  • Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support
  • Tracks and monitors problems to ensure a timely resolution
  • Works with senior IS personnel to resolve hardware and software issues
  • Keeps end users informed as to the status of open system support issues
  • Assists Network Administrator with managing and maintaining off-site storage of all backup media
  • Maintains and improves personal skill set on all technical issues relating to job function

Channel Development Sales Consultant
Location:  Woodbury, NY

Long Island Channel Development Sales Consultant Position Summary:
  • The objective of this position is to provide Advantec agency partners, sales team, clients and prospects with expertise of HR Outsourcing, ASO and PEO products and services as well as a thorough knowledge of small/medium business practices.
  • Will participate in preparation and presentation of Pricing, and Proposals.
  • Will collaborate to close new business opportunities and provide consultation of all Advantec services.
Experience:
  • This position will require 3 to 5 years of consultative sales experience, or account management in the HR Outsourcing or PEO space and will serve as subject mater expert.
  • The ideal candidate will have success in meeting sales objectives and/or performance objectives.
  • Will have experience in channel development and networking within HR Outsourcing space.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Education BA or BS
  • The role will require very high energy, initiative, problem-solving, creativity, solid listening skills, solid time management skills, sales coaching, technology competency, and goal setting/management.
  • Will require documentation of achievements to demonstrate successful goal management.
  • Ability to analyze data and compile reports or project plans.

  • Experience generating sales activity in areas of Networking, Broker Partner relationships along with telemarketing efforts, direct mail campaigns and prospect visits within the MidMarket HR Outsourcing space
  • Consultative sales experience preferred with stellar presentation skills/experience
  • Solid ability to target MidMarket prospects
