Advantec Announces Strong Third Quarter Results, Citing Client Relations Strategy and Partnership with Aetna® as Key Factors in Success

Tampa, FL (November 2, 2006) – Advantec announced today significant 3rd Quarter results that position the national HR Business Process Outsourcing provider to exceed revenue and profit objectives for 2006. In the first three quarters of 2006, Advantec reports sizable growth over the previous year in the number of worksite employees served through its PEO and ASO solutions.

In other 3rd quarter highlights, Advantec announced the completion of a multi-million dollar hardware upgrade to its technology systems and the creation of a high security technology center, including the redeployment of its Disaster Recovery system to Atlanta, GA in a state-of- the-art fault tolerance center. The solution features mirror production of data, guaranteeing Advantec customers access to the most advanced recovery solutions available for the storage of their HR information.

Further, Advantec successfully completed the renewal of its October benefit enrollment cycle, in which many of its clients were able to provide their work-site employees minimal to no premium health insurance increases, a circumstance which is rare in today’s business environment. This success is expected to carry over to its January health insurance renewal. “We have partnered with our national provider, Aetna, to provide what we feel are ‘best-in-class’ competitive health insurance plans in a climate which forces many US firms to pass double-digit rate increases on to employees,” said Mr. Goepel when asked to comment on Advantec’s relationship with Aetna. “Overall, Advantec's renewal increase was below national trend and in some markets our pricing trend remained flat. This is a benchmark renewal for Advantec, resulting in the strongest competitive position we have achieved in the market in several years.”
