Advantec is prepared with a solid business continuance and disaster recovery plan.
As part of our commitment to provide best-in-class technology and service to our clients, Advantec’s systems are supported by a high availability secured data center and by business continuance and disaster recovery plans that are state-of-the-art.
Built-in redundancies, fault tolerance and auto-failover are configured to significantly reduce the risk of non-scheduled down-time. Advantec can maintain a 99.5% up-time rate on all business critical systems. Advantec’s entire processing facility is wired to a generator via an automatic transfer switch. The generator has a 2000 gallon tank that will sustain our systems indefinitely with refueling.
Advantec’s high security technology center includes a dry pipe FM-200 fire suppression system and redundant Liebert HVAC units. The center also contains a Powerware Uninterruptible Power Supply which protects our entire infrastructure from power interruptions or surges.
In the unlikely event that a disaster requires Tampa operations to move to an alternate site, Advantec has an alternate operations site in Atlanta which is maintained in a hardened/fully redundant facility able to sustain Category-5 forces. Advantec co-locates all system data to this site, through a connection that allows for mirror production of all data. Advantec’s data replication system is constantly updated, ensuring that our clients will experience minimal interruption of services through our system should our Tampa operations site be affected by a power loss.
Advantec’s investment in this state-of-the-art system protects your company from the risks of a loss of data and operations ability due to a disaster. By partnering with Advantec, your company can leverage this plan to support key human resources functions.
